Phillip J. Johnson completed his undergraduate career at Loyola University, and subsequently attended Chicago Kent College of Law. His practice has been concentrated on workers' compensation claims, including disputed areas of compensability, and significant issues of a medical/legal nature. Mr. Johnson served as the Special Assistant Attorney General to the Illinois Toll Authority from 1993 through 2006, during which time he was assigned to the litigation of all workers' compensation claims

Mr. Johnson is currently a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association. In the past, he has served as the president of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Lawyers Associations, and also as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Johnson has conducted numerous lectures for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education on the topic of workers' compensation.
